General Features

The DT844FF offers the highest submersibility rating of any manufacturer. This protects against corrosion, withstanding total immersion in water to a depth of 2 meters for 4 hours to protect against the likely hazards encountered in extremely wet environments.
DT844FF accessory socket has been specifically designed so that when an accessory is secured to the portable, the connection can withstand any amount of punishment; from dropping to careless misuse. The rugged, multi-pin interface and Micro-USB socket are both submersible and gold-plated to minimize any risk of damage and protect against corrosion. To ensure the integrity of IS protection levels any accessory connected to the handset automatically undergoes a validation process to safeguard against non-compliant accessories being used. All DT844FF accessories incorporate a robust locking connector to further safeguard the safety of the user.

DT844FF radios are supplied with the latest intelligent Lithium-Ion battery technology as standard. One key advantage of Lithium-Ion battery technology is the way it eliminates ‘memory effect’, meaning that there is no need to fully discharge your battery before recharging. As a result of this, you are assured of a full charge each and every time you take your Entel battery from its charger.
DT844FF portables deliver loud & crisp audio no matter what environment you are in. All of the DT844FF’s range of accessories incorporate a robust locking plug and high-grade cable and benefit from Entel’s proprietary “Smart Speech Tailoring” technology. This automatically detects the type of accessory connected and optimizes the audio accordingly to deliver the very best performance.
With our free, unique and simple to use PC app, you can easily re-program a DT844FF radios whilst still onboard. The user friendly app makes it easy to drag and drop a new programming file from an email to your DT844FF radio(s). This is a simple and seamless process that can be carried out by non-technical personnel.
To avoid accidental operation, your radio's keys & controls can be locked.

CSAHT – Single-unit rapid charger for the HT series hand portable. This intelligent rapid mains charger ensures that the battery only receives the correct amount of charge. Charge status is indicated via a multi-coloured LED so you will know whether the battery is fully charged before use. Charger operates between 110-240V. Due to the high capacity of the HT Li-Ion battery pack, charge time is around 2.5 hours. The charger can be either desk or wall mounted. |

CMP/DT9 - A submersible, very rugged, heavy duty lapel speaker microphone for the DTEx 800 and 900 series hand portable radio. The CMP/DT9 is attached with a revolving clip and allows the radio user to carry the radio on their belt and have the facility to both make and receive calls without removing their radio. This keeps the radio safe and ensures that calls are not missed, especially in noisy environments. |

EA12/DT9 - A 'D' shaped, soft rubber-feel earpiece which fits over your ear. This is connected to a combined tie clip microphone and press to talk button via a curly cable. A rotating strain relief clip can attach to your collar to prevent the earpiece being dislodged if the cable were pulled. The EA12/DT9 allows the radio user to carry the radio on their belt and have the facility to both make and receive calls without removing their radio. This keeps the radio safe and ensures that calls are not missed, especially in noisy environments. This accessory is designed for light to medium duty applications, so to ensure maximum life span it should be personally allocated to users. |

CXR5/DT9 - Bone conductive skull microphone with in-line PTT for the DTEx Series hand portable radio. A high quality rugged bone conductive compact helmet-com unit for professionals working in hazardous conditions. It has a dirt protected microphone and a single speaker and easily mounts into most helmet types and provides clear and hands-free communication. The headset attaches via a quality in-line connector to a large rugged waterproof press to talk switch that can clip on to a belt or other suitable position using the rugged revolving clip. The press to talk switch is easy to use, has a positive feel and can be used by a gloved hand or under clothing. As with all bone conductive accessories, we do not recommend using voice operated transmit (VOX). |
